My swings are my latest project. It is still in progress.

This project is a combination between my obsession with buttons and crocheting.

My vast button collection has buttons that survived the holocaust as well as modern buttons that have just come out of the manufactures line. Together with the flowers I crochet that are hand-sewn to the swings, they bring to life the idea of life’s movements; from down to up and vice versa, from dark, and black places (from where some of my buttons came from) to lighter colors and happier ones.

My swings vary in gradience from black to lighter in color, to colorful ones.

Each swing represents a different state of mind, different mood or different stage in life.

We all have our ups and downs. Some of us have gone through trauma and hardship, but just as the moving swings, we all aspire to have ups and lightness in our life.
