Clay
In my ceramics, I’ve always experimented with textures. Whether it's a functional piece like a plate or a tray, or a decorative one such as a light sconce or a sculpture, texture is the finishing touch that I use to elevate my work. I believe that texture adds another layer of depth, transforming a simple item into a piece of art.
My journey into ceramics began with a fascination for the tactile nature of clay and the transformative power of fire. This fascination drives me to explore the delicate balance between form and function, crafting pieces that are not only beautiful but also practical. Each piece tells a story—of the earth from which the clay is born, the hands that shape it, and the fire that breathes life into it.
